Luxury house for sale featured in BBC's Homes Under the Hammer

The transformation of two cottages sold at online auction by our Norwich team into a large family home is the focus of a new episode of BBC's Homes Under the Hammer.

Mill Cottages, Ingham, two separate flint and brick cottages, one with two bedrooms and one with three bedrooms, went under the virtual hammer at one of our Norwich auctions in March, 2023.

The properties were then featured by the BBC 1 TV programme Homes Under the Hammer.

The resulting four bedroom house which was created from the two old cottages is now finished. Newly named The Millers House, it is for sale with our Norwich Residential team.

Peter Hornor, Partner, Chartered Surveyor and Auctioneer, based in our Norwich office, sold the original two cottages - and is delighted to be selling the newly transformed house.

He was filmed for BBC's Homes Under the Hammer returning to see the cottages whilst the building work was being undertaken earlier this year.

In episode 27, titled 'Two For the Price of One', recently broadcast, the buyers show TV presenter Tommy Walsh around the newly emerging home.

Peter Hornor is then interviewed who says: "Much of the charm rests with where this property is and what it is and having looked around, there is a lot of space and I am very impressed."
