Jeremy began his career in Residential and Commercial property agency and valuation in 1988 and set up the Brown&Co Retford office in 1999. Throughout his career he has been heavily involved in the acquisition, marketing and disposal of Land and New Homes. 

He has 30 years’ experience of Agency in the Residential property market (and Commercial) at all times in the resale market but with particular emphasis on country houses, development land and unusual property. He specialises in the valuation of residential property in accordance with the RICS Valuation – Professional Standards published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (The Red Book) for secured lending purposes and capital taxes.

Jeremy is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a RICS Registered Valuer and has an Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence.

He deals in predominantly private client work, but also Church of England, Church Commissioners, Trinity Methodist Circuit, Bassetlaw District Council, various charities and developers.
