Taylors Lane, Cambridgeshire

Acting on behalf of the landowner, we managed this process successfully through an initial Class Q application followed by a full planning application to the local planning authority, Huntingdonshire District Council, to replace a barn conversion with two high quality detached dwellings.
The site sits within a fairly rural area and the house designs were developed to have a traditional character as befitted the location.
Our concept was for the designs to be viewed as a pair, with extensions to the main form giving the impression of some development over time.
The designs and layouts are light and airy with the main spaces being at the rear, facing to the south.
