Splash Park

Designs were prepared for a proposed splash park on the site of a former lido in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, with a planning application submitted to the local council, Huntingdonshire District Council.

The site of the former lido will be transformed into a fun outdoor facility with water sprays and jets after our Architecture and Planning team worked on this scheme with the St Neots Aquatic and Leisure Trust.

The lido operated from 1961 until its closure in 2003 after which the land has remained vacant.

The Trust was formed in 2016 with the aim of returning a water-based leisure use to the site and worked with our Architecture and Planning Team to design the new splash park for the town.

The site is adjacent to the existing bowling alley ‘Eat n Bowl’ and it is intended that the site will in time also host a new café and other facilities.
