Taverham Hall School, Norfolk

Taverham Hall is Grade 2 Listed and is set in 100 acres of stunning wooded grounds and Country Park. There was a need for new classroom provision to replace some outdated buildings. The proposed site is in the grounds of a Listed Walled Garden and next to an Ancient Woodland. Given this, the site presented significant policy and physical challenges. The creative solution to developing within a walled woodland site enabled a disused area of land to be brought into the heart of the School. Holding a gateway position within the grounds, the proposals make a statement of intent and speak to the unique learning environment that the School has.
