Simon is an expert Chartered Town Planner with over 15 years’ experience in development management, in both the public and private sectors. This provides Simon with a wealth of experience in development management, planning enforcement resolution and negotiation of Section 106 agreements. His clients include major landowners, public sector bodies and individual private clients.

A Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute, Simon joined Brown&Co in 2015 as a Senior Planner, rising to Divisional Partner in 2018. Simon has wide ranging experience in delivering residential and commercial developments from individual urban sites to major greenfield urban extensions. His focus is on identifying and delivering his clients’ objectives. He uses his expertise and understanding of local government to cut through delay and bureaucracy, swiftly and efficiently delivering commercially viable planning permissions.

As well as being an experienced town planner, Simon is a key member of his village cricket club’s Oxfordshire league side; this competitive edge is sure to serve Brown & Co well in all new future planning cases.

Simon is also the Office Manager for the St Neots office.
