Yesterday we had outstanding success in our pre-Christmas auction, selling 100% of all lots. 

Results were well ahead of guide prices, for example 1 Heath View (pictured below) sold for £190,000 - a fantastic £70,000 over the guide price.

In particular, land sold exceptionally well in the auction, and this is a trend we have seen developing over the last few years. Yesterday saw 0.88 acres in Besthorpe selling for £45,500, which was £30,000 over the guide price. In addition, 11 acres of land in Flixton sold for £225,000, which was £100,000 over the guide price.

This demonstrates the demand for small pockets of land in England, appealing to a wide variety of buyers.

Alongside our East Anglian auction, Partner Jeremy Baguley also had a very successful auction in the East Midlands.
