Highfield Farm, Cambridgeshire

The client’s requirements were for further office space. Farm diversification in the past had seen a stable block converted into an office and the tenant now required more floorspace.

An adjacent barn was to be demolished and a new build office of a similar scale and form was proposed in its place. The site was adjacent to a Listed building and so the setting of this asset was an important consideration within the design proposals.

We then managed a successful planning application – which was submitted to Huntingdonshire District Council and dealt with under Delegated Powers.

We then completed a working drawings package for the client and construction was completed recently.
