The site related to a former poultry unit that had been demolished on land once part of an RAF station.

The site was being proposed to be allocated for mixed use in an emerging Area Action Plan but, it was felt that with the delay to wider and larger schemes being brough forward in good time, that this site needed to come forward as a stand-alone scheme.

The intention was to resolve issues of access and proximity to the existing industrial estate, from an acoustics perspective. Outline planning permission has been given for up to 50 dwellings and we have recently secured Reserved Matters on the site. We look forward to the scheme coming forward on site in due course.
