What International Women's Day means to us

Our firm is proud to highlight and celebrate women's achievements in the rural, property and business sectors as we celebrate International Women's Day.

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.

We asked our teams about what International Women's Day means to them and how we encourage equal opportunities.

Lisa Whelan, our HR director, based in the Norwich office, said: "Working in HR provides me with a unique platform to find ways to champion a gender equal workplace by affecting policy and cultural change."

Thomas Birks, Partner, Land Agency, based in our Banbury office, said: "As a father to a strong-willed, independent daughter, the recognition that International Women's Day brings will hopefully shape a more equal world for her to grow up in."
