After graduating from Seale-Hayne Agricultural College   and training in the West Country, Simon has worked for Brown&Co in Norfolk since 2005.

Simon has extensive experience in business management, contract farming, diversification, rural grants, dealing with DEFRA & RPA schemes, in addition to provision of advice in respect of Landlord Tenant matters including rent reviews and succession. Simon also specialises in providing appraisals on renewable energy projects, particularly Solar Photovoltaic schemes both in respect of self-install and negotiating with developers for leasehold arrangements.

Simon is an experienced machinery auctioneer, conducting machinery auctions for the last 15 years he also pioneered the use of online auctions for agricultural machinery and launched the Nation Online Timed Auction service in 2014. 

Simon lives on a mixed farm in mid Norfolk and runs a flock of sheep with his family.
