Simon joined Adkin in 1984 prior to attending the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. He returned to the firm and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1988 and became a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers in 1992. Simon also runs his own family property business incorporating farming interests, residential lets and a multi-tenanted office park. He has now been advising clients across Southern England and further afield for some thirty years on a wide range of property related matters.

Simon is a past President of the CAAV and a member of their Executive Committee, as well as sitting on their Governing Council. He is also a past Chairman of the Local Branch of both the RICS and CAAV. Simon is known for his attention to detail and unbiased professionalism. He is a RICS Registered Valuer and his specialist areas of work include Planning & Development (covering promotion agreements, options and conditional contracts), Landlord & Tenant, Corporate & Private Client Valuations, Compulsory Purchase and a number of other professional services.
