Philip has spent almost 40 years involved in agriculture, being brought up on a mixed family farm in North Lincolnshire. Following formal training in Agriculture and Accountancy he farmed for 10 years before joining Brown&Co. He still runs a diversified rural business in North Lincolnshire Philip has been a fully equity Partner for a number of years, taking many different roles within the management of the business. He is a Fellow of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants.

Philip’s expertise is broad, covering most aspects of the agricultural industry, with a sector specialism of potato production. Key areas of work include budgets, business and financial management, working with business structures and strategy development and implementation.

Philip undertakes key roles in businesses including non-executive management and directorships, helping business evolve and achieve the objectives of the owners.
