Peter joined Brown&Co in 2012 shortly after graduating with a First-Class Honours degree in Agriculture from The University of Nottingham. Peter has been based at the Bury St Edmunds office since he started with the firm and has been instrumental in the 2022 move to the new address of Linden Square, 146 King’s Road. 

Peter was brought up on a family farm in Dorset, developing a practical understanding of both arable and livestock enterprises. Peter has an in-depth knowledge of Contract Farming and Joint Ventures, managing a large number of agreements, and specialises in strategic business advice to a wide range of farming clients. Peter heads up the firms’ Basic Payment Scheme delivery team and advises in all aspects of the Countryside Stewardship scheme and all other environmental grant funding.
