Matthew joined Brown&Co in 2019 as a Graduate in the King’s Lynn office and qualified as a Rural Chartered Surveyor in 2020 before moving to the Bury St. Edmunds office in October 2021.
At Brown&Co, Matthew undertakes and assists in a wide range of work on behalf of agricultural clients within Suffolk and Norfolk. These include agricultural valuations, reinstatement valuations, landlord and tenant matters, end of tenancy negotiations, estate management, compulsory purchase & compensation and statutory water and electricity utilities schemes.
In 2019, Matthew graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management and qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2020 and as a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers in 2021.
Matthew was brought up on a Suffolk smallholding and has previously gained experience working on a diverse private Estate in Devon as well as working on an organic dairy farm and a large arable farm based in Suffolk.
