Kath Whitrow
Kath Whitrow - Agricultural Business Consultancy
Banbury
Kath joined the Banbury office in 2024, bringing a unique background that combines hands-on farming with nearly four decades in the banking industry, where she served as a Relationship Director for Barclays in Wales and the Borders. Over the last 15 years of her banking career, she focused on agriculture and related industries, while also diversifying into the hospitality and leisure sectors.
In addition to her professional roles, Kath is actively engaged in agricultural organisations, serving as an Associate of the Council for Awards of Royal Agricultural Societies (CARAS) and holds the position of Chair for the National Farmer Union (NFU) Cymru Lesser Favored Area Board. These roles provide her with valuable insights into Welsh farming policies and the challenges faced by farmers in the region.
Kath is also a dedicated upland farmer in the Brecon Beacons, where she manages a 550-acre farm in partnership with her son, Alex. Together, they operate a flock of 1,000 hardy hill ewes, maintaining a closed flock basis, together with 50 suckler stabiliser cattle.
