Greg joined Brown&Co in 2019 as Divisional Partner to develop and lead the business across Natural Capital and Carbon and to develop environmental land use initiatives as the UK government transitions from BPS to ELM.

Prior to Bown&Co he was Group Director of a large international charity where he headed the commercial consulting division as well as leading programmes of work across Asia and Sub Saharan Africa delivering agribusiness, renewable energy and climate mitigation interventions.     

Greg holds Masters and Undergraduate Degrees as well as postgraduate qualifications in Marketing and Project Management. 

Recently Greg has led the Defra Future Farming Resilience programme delivering business appraisals, financial analysis, supporting diversifications, technology adoption, benchmarking enterprise performance and supporting uptake of environmental initiatives to several thousand farmers across England. He has also delivered a definitive Environmental Impact Assessment Working with landowners, the Forestry Commission and venture capital funding fund to deliver land use change catalysed by long term lucrative carbon/woodland income streams. Greg also recently secured and delivered Forestry Commission and UKRI Innovate UK grants analysing options for farmer support amidst sector change. 

Greg has considerable experience working with stakeholders such as Natural England to deliver large scale Higher Tier Countryside Stewardship schemes.
