Ellie Allwood was previously a partner in JHWalter, having joined the firm in 1994, prior to the merger with Brown&Co on 1st October 2021. Ellie is now Divisional Partner in the Land Agency team. Her specialisations are rural landlord and tenant particularly under Agricultural Holdings Act 1986, Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 and all associated landlord and tenant matters including rent reviews, disputes, surrenders and succession. Ellie also undertakes stocktaking and compensation work.

Prior to joining JHWalter, Ellie managed rural estates in Warwickshire / West Midlands. Ellie is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers and a member of the Agricultural Law Association. Ellie is appointed to the RICS Panel of Rural Arbitrators and Rural Expert Witness Panel.

Ellie comes from a Nottinghamshire farming family.
