Food Enterprise Park, Norwich
The Food Enterprise Park is an ongoing instruction comprising 100 acres of development land, 46 acres of which have a local development order for food production, processing and agricultural uses.
All infrastructure works are now in place for Phase One of the Food Enterprise Park. The first phase of the initial road entrance is complete with the new spine road completed. Connection to the upgraded A47 being planned for 2024 with a new entrance vista. The internal services of surface water (with 3 acre infiltration lagoon) and foul drainage are in place, mains water and high speed broadband. UKPN 4MW electricity connection is completed, with plans to further increase power availability to 30MW being developed.
Latest developments on the site include:
- Condimentum, a superfine mustard and mint milling facility that supplies Colmans in conjunction with Unilever. This is especially significant as it has helped to keep the processing of Colman products in Norfolk.
- Fisher Farms vertical farming facility, which currently grows salad leaves and herbs. The facility can produce 72 thousand bags of salad a day, which means the 4 acre building has the same yields as 1,000 acres of farmland.
- The most recent sale of 9 acres was to the Original Holding Company, a wine processing facility.
We hope to have a local development order agreed on the next 50 acres by September 2024.
