News

We are delighted to announce that this year, through our fundraising efforts and the incredible generosity of our employees, clients, friends and family, we have raised an incredible £38,664.38 for Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) in memory of our colleague and friend, Danielle Spauls.

As the official charity for Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie Hospitals, ACT funds cutting-edge equipment, groundbreaking research, and improvements to the environment for both staff and patients, above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide.

The funds we have raised will go directly to ACT, helping to support life-saving treatment, research, and patient care at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, ensuring that other families receive the same level of compassionate care that Dannii and her family experienced.

Andrew Fundell, Partner, said: "Each year, we select a charity to support. Following the loss of our colleague and friend, Danielle Spauls, after a short illness, we had no hesitation in choosing ACT in recognition of the incredible care and support the hospital provided to her and her family."

"Though Dannii was based in our Norwich office, all 10 of our offices came together in her memory, dedicating the year to fundraising for ACT. From conquering the Yorkshire Three Peaks to taking on the Oxford Half Marathon and a Norfolk coastal walk, we united in her honour to make a difference."

Over the past year, our offices have taken on a variety of fundraising challenges, demonstrating remarkable team spirit and commitment. Our Lincoln office tackled the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, while our Norfolk offices completed a 12.5-mile coastal walk from Cromer to Cley next the Sea. Our St Neots office cycled 24 miles from their office to the AstraZeneca hub at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, and our Banbury office took on the Oxford Half Marathon. Meanwhile, our Humber office hosted a clay pigeon shooting afternoon.

In addition to these major challenges, all of our offices contributed to the fundraising efforts through a range of initiatives, including quiz nights, raffles, sweepstakes, dress-down days, and cake sales, bringing us together in the spirit of generosity and remembrance.

Thank you to our clients, family, and friends for your incredible support in helping us fundraise for ACT.
