Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
Fri 13 Sep 2024
On Friday 13th September 2024, our Lincoln office took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust, in memory of our colleague and friend, Danielle Spauls, who was a valued member of our Norwich office.
The team climbed all three peaks, Ingleborough, Whernside & Pen-y-Ghent, covering 25 miles, in just 12 hours! A huge well done to everyone who took part.
We are thrilled to share that we raised an incredible £2,650 for ACT through the challenge, contributing to our overall annual target of £32.450. The donations will go towards funding new services and facilities, enhancing existing services, and supporting the research and innovation at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie Hospitals. We couldn't have done it without the generosity of those who donated - our family, friends and clients. Thank you to everyone who donated.
Susannah Crossfield, Communications Assistant in Lincoln, says "What a fantastic day! It was very challenging at times, but the team did exceptionally well and we managed to complete all three peaks within 12 hours. We were very lucky with the weather and the views along the way were incredible. We are very grateful for all of the donations received and are absolutely delighted to have raised so much money for a very well-deserving charity."
